Celebrate the life of our 16th President at the Lincoln Memorial Shrine from noon to 3 pm at 125 West Vine Street. Redlands.

Tuesday, February 9                         Civil War Book Club

7:30 pm      The monthly discussion group of the Richard Rollins Civil War Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Drum Barracks Library. This month the group will discuss The Nature of Sacrifice, a biography of Charles Russell Lowell, by Carol Bundy.

Friday, February 12                           78th Annual Watchorn Lincoln Dinner at Lincoln Memorial Shrine

Noon to 8 pm.     Fort MacArthur remembers this mysterious and controversial event in San Pedro and coastal Los Angeles history.

Sunday, March 4                               Civil War Battle Reenactments at Fort Tejon State Historical Park

Held on the third Sunday of the month: March 4, April 18, May 16, August 15 (Invitational) and Sept. 19.

10 am to 5 pm. Hosted by the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum, 2040 N. Santa Fe Avenue, Vista. Battles will be at 12 noon and 2 pm with living history tours, demonstrations and displays offered all day.

10 am to 5 pm  Join our volunteers as we pull out those Civil War-era decorations and cover the Museum from top to bottom in Christmas cheer. All hands are needed for whatever amount of time you have available!

From 11 am to 4 pm, this will be the 11th annual holiday celebration at the Museum. The Banning Museum will rejoin us for this festive holiday event and the horse-drawn trolley will be back as well.
